A study discovered that mild dehydration resulted in increased sleepiness and fatigue, reduced levels of vitality and alertness, and heightened confusion.

Interestingly, once water was consumed, the effects on alertness, happiness, and confusion were promptly reversed.

Cold water is absorbed by the body approximately 20% faster.
