What is a cleanse?

A cleanse is a way to reset the digestive system and clean out the organs of the body. Even if you eat healthy and clean 100% of the time, it is inevitable that toxins build up in our system.  This can cause a sluggish digestive system and lead to other system malfunctions in the body as well.

How do you cleanse?

There are 3 steps to performing a cleanse properly.  First, you will want to eliminate certain foods from your diet. These are the foods that most commonly cause food sensitivities and a build of toxins the gut.  Secondly, we will guide you to eat a healthy diet of whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, protein and carbohydrates.  Combining your foods in the proper balance is essential.  Last, you will need to take whole food supplements that include herbs, fiber and vitamins.  The supplement is designed to scrub the intestinal lining, clean out the colon and bulk up the stool to remove the waste.  In addition, the organs of the body, liver, kidneys, stomach and gallbladder will be purged of toxins by the herbs in the supplement.  Once the cleanse is complete, foods can be added back into the diet to identify any food sensitivities.  We will help guide you through the entire cleansing process.  

How do I know I need to cleanse?

Symptoms such as gas, bloating, cramping, GERD, indigestion, constipation, irritable bowel, fatigue, headaches, insomnia and joint paincan be signs that your digestive system is toxic.  These are all signals your body is giving you that it is reacting to something.  This reaction could be because of toxins or food that you are eating that your body is reacting to.  We recommend that you fill out a toxicity questionnaire.  Your score will indicate your need for a cleanse.
